Every Northern Conversions campervan is backed by clear warranty coverage and long-term support — whether you’re close to home or on the other side of the countr
Our Standard Warranty
Every full conversion includes a 12-month warranty on our workmanship and installation.
This covers defects in how we’ve built, fitted or installed any part of your conversion.
All appliances (heaters, fridges, electrical components, solar, water systems etc.) are covered by manufacturer warranties, which vary by supplier. If any component develops a fault, we’ll help guide you through the process.
You can also upgrade your coverage to a 3-year extended warranty through our approved warranty partner for an additional fee. This gives you access to a nationwide network of authorised repairers and an official 24/7 support line
What’s Covered
Our 12-month workmanship warranty includes:
– Cabinetry and structural fitment
– Electrical system installation
– Plumbing and water system installation
– Heating installation
– General build quality issues related to our work
If something isn’t performing as it should, let us know — we’ll get you sorted
What’s Not Covered
Common industry exclusions include:
– Normal wear and tear
– Accidental damage or misuse
– Poor maintenance, storage, or frost damage
– Moisture/damp issues caused by user operation
– Freezing-related damage (pipework must be drained in cold weather)
– Natural wood elements that require ongoing maintenance
– Mechanical faults with the base vehicle
– Issues caused by third-party work or customer-supplied components

Nationwide Support Network
We understand that customers travel far and wide — and you won’t always be near our workshop if something happens.
Because campervan converters in the UK are a tight-knit community, we work closely with other trusted converters around the country. If you’re miles away and need hands-on help, we can often arrange support through someone we personally know and trust.
This alone sets us apart from many converters — you’re never on your own.
Extended Warranty (Up to 3 Years)
Alongside our own coverage, we partner with a professional motorhome warranty provider to offer:
– 1-year standard extended warranty (included in full conversions)
– Optional upgrade to 3 years
– Nationwide network of approved repairers
– A dedicated support team at the other end of the phone
– Smooth claims process
-Access to emergency repair arrangements
Customers contact the warranty provider directly if they need official, immediate assistance — particularly useful if it’s a weekend or they can’t get hold of us
How to Get Help If Something Goes Wrong
If you have an issue, here’s the order of support:
1. Contact Northern Conversions first
We’ll offer remote support where possible, and book you in for repair work at our workshop wherever practical. This is always our preferred approach so we can ensure everything is done to our standard.
2. If you’re far away
We may arrange help through another converter we know and trust — someone closer to you who can assess or resolve the issue.
3. Or contact your extended warranty provider
If you upgraded your warranty, or if you need help and we’re unavailable, your warranty provider can:
– Talk you through next steps
– Arrange repairs with an approved repair centre
– Handle the claim directly
This gives you support anywhere in the UK, even out of hours.
