Seating
The Blagdon has 5 belted seats as standard, 3 in the cab and 2 in the rear as part of the rock & roll bed (we now use a Fabworx seat as standard, these are crash tested and come with Isofix). In the living area of the camper there's an extendable bench seat which faces the rear belted seats. This gives plenty of space for 4 to sit around the oak table. The 5th would tend to sit on the staircase or bed. There's also a window next to the rear seating area so you can watch the world go by whilst traveling.
The belted seats can be altered to suit your use, for example the cab double bench can be changed to a single if you'd only like to belt 4 or swap out the rock & roll belted seats for a standard bench if you're only looking to belt 3
The upholstered rear bench can be styled to your personal choice and cab seats can also be upholstered to match
Beds
Designed to sleep 5, with the option to downgrade this to 3 or 4.
The main bed is a fixed elevated bunk across the rear of the vehicle which measures approx 195x120cm. The rock & roll bed pulls out to make an incredibly long and comfortable double bed. The last bed is a compact comfortable mattress which folds out across the front cab seats
Downgrading to a 4 berth would remove the cab bed, downgrading to 3 would also remove the rear rock & roll bed, swapping for a standard bench which would make sleeping area for the 3rd person
Shower & Water
There's a large shower enclosure inside the van with a Thetford cassette toilet as standard (upgrade to a composting loo if you prefer). This uses a Reco wall lining and curved Tamdour shower door. There's also a hot & cold shower mounted in the garage area so you can wash the sand off your feet or hose down the dogs & kids when they've been splashing in puddles.
You're able to pick your own style of shower wall lining, colour of the shower door & mixer / shower head colours if you wish
Kitchen
The main kitchen sits on the drivers side of the vehicle just behind the shower and is made from scratch by our skilled campervan craftsmen using lightweight materials. The oak worktop houses the hob (upgrade to induction or an oven) We fit a cutlery drawer, 65l Compressor fridge, lighting in the kickstands and of course you'll find plenty of storage. There's also a small window above the kitchen unit
You're able to pick the colour of the cabinetry, cabinet handles and change the worktop material if you wish
Storage
We know storage is important in a family van, so we've made sure to include as much as possible in this design. Above the cab you'll find a large storage shelf, there's a huge amount of storage underneath the rock & roll bed, Within the 4 sectioned overhead cabinet you'll also find plenty of storage along with the electrical control panel. The kitchen units have enough space for all of your kitchen items plus space left over for your belongings, the staircase houses a lower top loading storage area and upper pull out drawer, there's a shoe storage area hidden within the bulkhead just behind the cab seats and lastly the garage area stores the table, 4th cab bed, electrical system whilst still offering plenty of space for your camping chairs etc.
Electrical
We know that a reliable and safe electrical system is important in an off grid family campervan which is why from standard, this camper is powered by a 200w solar panel and 230ah Roamer lithium battery. We also use Victron equipment for a hassle free adventure, the standard build comes with a Victron Multiplus inverter charger which allows you to use 230v appliances whilst out in the wild, Victron BMV battery monitor so you can see your battery level at a glance, then a Victron Smartsolar MPPT, Victon Orion DC-DC (split charger) and Victron LYNX power in to control your power in & out
Gas & Heating
Our base model comes with a underslung refillable gas tank, which increases garage space. These include a digital gas level indicator so you can see you're remaining gas at a glance. Heating is via an Autoterm 4kw diesel heater which uses a "comfort controller" that gives the ability to set timers and control the heating like a thermostat.
The water is heated via a Bobil air Hybrid, which gives the ability of water heating via either 230v hookup whilst on a campsite or by pulling heat from the diesel heater.
